Prof. (Dr.) S. Jena is a distinguished academician, researcher, and administrator with an illustrious contribution to higher education and research. A topper in both Graduation (1975) and Post-Graduation (1977) from Utkal University, he obtained his Ph.D. in 1984 from the same university. Though selected for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) in 1978, he chose academics in pursuit of his passion for teaching and research. He joined as Professor in 1999 after serving in various Government Colleges and has since made remarkable contributions through authorship of five books, publication of 36 research papers in reputed journals, completion of five funded research projects, and guidance of ten Ph.D. scholars. As a Government of India Post-Doctoral Fellow, he worked at Maxwell Institute and University of Leeds in 1989. He was also a member of the 9th Mission Indian Delegation on Higher Education to China in 2010 and was honoured with the prestigious Mahatab Samman in 2002 for his academic excellence. Apart from his academic achievements, he served in several key administrative positions, including Syndicate Member and Professor-in-Charge, Research & Development, and contributed significantly to the growth of the Orissa Chemical Society, serving as its President in 2016. Following his superannuation in 2014, he continued his academic leadership as Director–Academic at KIIT University.

Ajit Kumar Barisal, is a Professor and former HOD in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Odisha University of Technology and Research, Bhubaneswar (Formerly College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar), Odisha, India, since 2018. He was an Associate Professor and HOD in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Odisha, India, from 2015 to 2018 and was an Assistant Professor since 2006. He received the “Odisha Young Scientist Award 2010”, IEI Young Engineers Award 2010” and “Union Ministry of Power, Department of Power Prize 2010” for his outstanding contribution to engineering and technology research. His research interests include economic load dispatch, hydrothermal scheduling, load frequency control and soft computing applications to power system.

Dr. Rajat Kumar Kar is a distinguished academician serving as the Principal of Dadhichi College of Pharmacy. He serves as a Member of the Academic Council, Board of Studies (BoS), Conducting Board & Common Disciplinary Committee at OUHS, Bhubaneswar. He is also a Member of the Academic Council & Conducting Board at BPUT, Rourkela, and a Member of the Board of Studies (BoS) for the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar. Previously, he served as a DRC Member (Pharmacy) at BPUT, Rourkela, and a Nominated Member of the Odisha State Board of Pharmacy, Bhubaneswar.

Dr. Rakesh Chandra Balabantaray is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIIT Bhubaneswar since 2008. He also served as Dean (Academics) in IIIT Bhubaneswar for 10 years. He had also worked in different Institutes of repute as Faculty Member like: NIT Durgapur, ICFAI University prior to IIIT Bhubaneswar. He has received the Ph.D degree from Utkal University in 2008 and M.Tech degree from Utkal University in 2001. He has copyright for the software named as OMTRANS and Oriya WordNet from Government of India. He has authored/co-authored/Edited 2 books, published more than 100 research papers (till date) in conferences and journal of international repute. He has undertaken more than 5 research projects funded by government of India totalling about 3 crores. He has filed many patents. His research interest includes Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, and Artificial Intelligence. He has hoisted around 10 students in his group as PhD for different periods.

Dr. Pramod Kumar Parida, a senior Professor and prominent administrator within the Mechanical Engineering department in Odisha. He is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and previously served in key leadership roles like Dean of Faculty and Planning at the former College of Engineering and Technology (CET), now known as the Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. His academic expertise and research interests primarily lie in the fields of Robotics and Automation, Mechanical System Design, and Manufacturing Engineering. He has authored numerous scholarly articles and peer-reviewed papers on topics such as robotic path planning, artificial neural networks, and thermo-mechanical properties of composites.

Kanhu Charan Bhuyan received his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the College of Engineering and Technology (affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology), Odisha, India, in 2003, and his M.Tech. degree in Control and Automation from IIT, Delhi, India, in 2005. He earned his Ph.D. from NIT, Rourkela, India, in 2014. He is currently working as a Professor in the School of Electronic Sciences at Odisha University of Technology and Research, Bhubaneswar. His current research interests include digital VLSI, IoT, Modeling of Photovoltaic Cells, Fuel Cells, and Control Strategies for various Power Converters and Renewable Power Generation Systems.
