Key Actions Area

Acting & Skill Development

  • Conduct weekly acting workshops focusing on: Voice modulation, body language, and improvisation.
  • Train members in: Scriptwriting, direction, stage management, and lighting/sound design.
  • Organize: Monologue and short scene practice sessions.
  • Explore diverse styles such as: Comedy, tragedy, absurd theatre, mime, etc.

Productions & Performances

  • Stage at least one major play per year (original or adapted).
  • Host: Short play festivals, skits, and street theatre events.
  • Participate in: College, community, and inter-institute drama competitions.
  • Collaborate with other clubs: For musical theatre or interdisciplinary performances.

Publicity & Outreach

  • Promote plays through: Posters, teasers, and trailers on social media.
  • Share: Rehearsal footage and behind-the-scenes content online.
  • Organize: Drama appreciation sessions like film screenings and script readings.
  • Conduct: Theatre outreach in local communities or schools through performances and workshops.

Club Management & Operations

  • Assign roles such as: Director, Scriptwriter, Production Manager, PR Lead, Costume Head, etc.
  • Maintain a production calendar for: Rehearsals, script deadlines, and show dates.
  • Manage: Budget tracking and sponsorship coordination.

Team Culture & Engagement

  • Conduct: Creative brainstorming sessions for new ideas and play concepts.
  • Celebrate achievements through: Awards like "Best Improv," "Most Dramatic Entry," etc.
  • Host bonding activities: Game nights, theatre games, and role-play challenges.
