Central Library

TITE library was established in 2007. The Central Library, TITE occupies a place of pride and helps as an integral component of the institute’s outstanding research and educational activities. It is considered as a part and parcel of the academic set up. It has a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which includes text books, reference books, journals, data bases, CDs etc. It has also been catering to the needs of under graduate students, faculty and staff members of the institute. The library is enabled with Wi-Fi connectivity. It has an E-library facility for the users. It has a separate reading room for the users with the latest collection of reference books and journals. It offers reference services, current awareness services and photocopying services to its users.

The Library plays a vital role in helping the students in borrowing various textbooks right in their rooms by issuing a set of four books per fortnight. Apart from this it issues six books from the book bank permanently per semester in order to help the students amply in their academic growth. The Library performs its daily transactions right from the 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM on all working days & 8.00 AM to 9.00 PM throughout the year except on National Holidays.

Library Staffs:

Mr. Ashutosh Padhi , Librarian.
Mr. Padhi is Continuing Ph.D from Utkal university. He has also completed B.Sc (GEO Exploration), B.Lib & Inf.Sc, M.Lib & Inf.Sc and Advanced Diploma in Client Server Programming. He has more than 9 yr. of exprience in library administration. He looks after overall administration of the central library which includes :
planning and organizing of library resourses, managing library staff, providing user education , dealing with library users, publishers and vendors and participating professional groups and networks of library.

Priyambada Samantaray, Assistant Librarian
Ms. Samantaray has done her Master Degree in Library & Information Science from Utkal University. She has also completed O’ level from Doeacc and attended workshop on Digital Library at KIIT University. She has 1 year experience in GITAM as a Asst. Librarian. Currently she is In charge of acquisition section, technical section and periodical section in TITE.

Pramod Kumar Samal, Library Assistant
Mr. Samal has done his M.A in Oriya from Utkal University and LLB from M.S Law College. Currently continuing his Executive MBA. He has more than 10 years of experience in his field. Now he is working as In charge of library Circulation Section (Issue & Return) in TITE.
